Following their last albums: Amputechture, and Deloused in the Comatorium, The Mars Volta have released a masterpiece. Its called The Bedlam in Goliath
Its packed with enough noise to have your ears ringing for days (good days, of course). Also, they've cut the crap, and gotten right to the chase with this album (meaning you wont find any 20 minute epics).
The Mars Volta have definetly succeeded with their new drummer, Thomas Pridgen. Some think his rhythm's are too complicated for the band, but I beleive he may be the best thing thats happened to them. Pridgen has insane talent, which only lends to the rest of the group.
Lastly, Id like to mention that Wax Simulacra, and Tourniquet Man clock in at a radio friendly 2.5 minutes.
The Bedlam in Goliath is a great album, and is definetly worthy of your $10 at iTunes!
